Built in the 13th century by the Papabeuf family, the Castle dominates the village of Domeyrat and the confluence of the Senouire and the Doulon. It was transformed into career under the Revolution.
In the 16th century, the La Rochefoucault made paint recently discovered scenes and developing restoration. The castle was inhabited until 1789. We view a flanked by walls of four towers and one can admire the cupola with frescoes from the 16th century, as well as murals in the North-West and South-West Towers. The bridge dates from the 15th and 16th centuries.

The Art Association the company and both offers a playful and lively tour in a faithfully restored medieval universe. Educational family visit playful and funny, discovered life in a castle in the 12th century (presentation of weapons, shooting of Ballista, tableware, games...)...
