The Château de Lespinasse, with stately buildings dominated by the shakers of the numerous towers.
The castle of Lespinasse existed at the beginning of the 12th century. Still inhabited, it escaped the destruction and bad restorations. It is the oldest preserved Castle of the Brivadois. It is cited in the year 924 by the CARTULARY of Brioude. It was originally the Gallo-Roman villa Spinatia (pines), which remain a few testimonials.
Enshrined in the lush greenery of its Park, the Castle offers the ideal image of the perfect manorial. Its many towers, watchtowers and turrets are enough to satisfy the most demanding imaginations.
